A: Founded 42 years ago by Joe Penland, Quality Mat Company is a family owned and operated company. Since Joe founded Quality Mat Company, we’ve been working together, as a family, to provide logging mats and work surfaces to a variety of industries. Today, Quality Mat Company is one of the largest mat producers and one of the oldest businesses in the industry. QMat.com is the mat industry standard.

 

Q: What do we sell?

A: At QMat.com we sell a variety of ground protection mats, including crane mats, rig mats, oilfield mats, pipeline mats, and 3-ply laminated mats. You can learn more about our products on the products page at QMat.com.

A: Here at Quality Mat Company our number one goal is to make the highest quality rig mats, and to provide you with the best customer service possible. Quality and service are an important part of our business strategy, and we hope you’ll see the quality in everything we do.

 

Q: Where are we located?

A: We have three main locations – Houston, Texas; Beaumont, Texas; and Killdeer, North Dakota. We also have a variety of lumber yards, located across the US, including states like Georgia, Mississippi, North Dakota, Texas, and Florida. Q: How are mats shipped?

A: We offer global shipping, by truck, rail or sea. Forms of transportation vary and include truck, rail, ship, and barge, but we guarantee when your crane mats arrive they’ll be in perfect condition!

 

Q: How important is the community?

A: The community is extremely important to everyone at the Quality Mat Company. We’re constantly looking for new ways to become involved in community events and community causes, including Girls Haven, the 100 Club, Julie Rogers “Gift of Life” Program, Desire Street Ministries, the Texas Children’s Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Boys Haven!
